From 15 April 2020, our domain name prices will be increasing.
Our price changes are due to external factors. InternetNZ, the registry for .nz domain names and the operator of the .nz domain name space, has raised the wholesale cost of domain names. There are also increased operating costs in the industry.
We expect that most domain registrars will be raising their prices, as the wholesale increases will have industry-wide consequences.
According to the NZ Domain Name Commission, the current average market price for an annual .nz domain name is between $41 and $45, NZ dollars.
This is our first price increase in three years, and we want to continue to offer domains at a price significantly less than the market average.
Our new annual domain name prices are in the table below, all NZ$ and exclusive of GST.

Renew your domain(s) for multiple years with us before 15 April 2020 and pay at existing prices.
For example, if you renew your .nz domain with us for a 3-year period, and do this prior to 15 April 2020, you will save NZ$19.50 + GST per domain.
