An email is being circulated to our customers which looks as if it has come from cPanel. cPanel is our web hosting platform. While our servers send you notifications when your disk space is full, this particular notification is spam. A link in these emails wants to gain access to your web hosting account by having you log in.
When you receive any notifications about your website, please check the email address the email was sent from. It should always be sent from “3point.nz” or “threepoint.nz”. If it is anything different, it has not been sent by us and you must delete this email immediately.
If you receive any emails of this nature in future, be sure to contact us first so that we can let you know if they are legitimate emails. We are always here to provide you with advice.
This year we will be closed between Tuesday, 21 December 2021 and Monday, 17 January 2022.
During this period we will be providing web hosting support only. To ensure we can help you, please open a ticket by sending us an email at support@threepoint.nz. Our responses may be delayed during this time. However, urgent tickets will be looked at immediately.
If you would like us to update your site with Christmas hours or any temporary closure messages, please be sure to email them in before Friday, 17 December to support@threepoint.nz. Christmas updates to your website can be completed for as little as $60 + GST. If we manage your Google My Business profile we will ensure your closure dates are updated there as well.
